Kitchen Island
This was a very special project to me, designed and built for a beautiful family cabin on Gambier Island. This space overlooks the coast mountains in Howe Sound, and the Kitchen Island was to be the centrepiece of the main living space.
Multifunctional with storage in the front, curved concrete bar top, flows into a lower concrete countertop with brass inlays and plenty of storage. I had free rein to design this project as I saw fit for the space it was to inhabit.
Drawers are made in shop, with Poplar sides and maple bottoms.
